NYT: Cancer Group, Reversing Course, Says It Will Maintain Planned Parenthood Funding Komen is reversing its course on cutting the breast-cancer screening funds at Planned Parenthoods throughout the country. (The PP in Illinois was not a recipient of the funding.) Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation said on Friday it had changed its mind about withdrawing funding to Planned Parenthood, which provides abortion and birth control services, and apologized.
